This is Morant’s Curve, one of the most photographed spots along the Canadian Pacific Railway. It’s tucked at the western end of the Bow Valley Parkway near Lake Louise and named after CPR photographer Nicolas Morant. I captured this last winter, a fleeting view, as the trees along the tracks have grown tall, slowly hiding the train from sight.
