Print Description
Located along the Bow Valley Parkway near Lake Louise, Morant’s Curve is named after CPR photographer Nicolas Morant and remains a favorite spot for train watchers. The left side of the curve offers a quieter perspective. Captured in winter, a soft blanket of snow settles over the landscape, allowing the train to stand out against the stillness. Once, this view opened clearly to the eye. Over time, the trees have grown tall and slowly closed in, leaving this moment no longer easily seen.
