I have been waiting to photograph this barn with canola in front for a couple of years now. Farmers usually rotate canola every two to three years because it takes up a lot of nutrients from the land. This barn is on it's last legs and has been for awhile. I wasn't even sure if the shot I had planned for this barn would even be achievable. You see, you find the perfect barn/elevator or rusty truck and then you have to wait for the best light, or season, or crop! Plus as the barn ages anything could happen, from bad weather to just getting torn down! I'm so glad I was able to photograph this beauty!
